Introduction

Justice & Liberation United (JLU) remains steadfast in its mission to combat abuse and human rights violations across the globe. Our recent intervention in Thailand highlights our commitment to rescue, rehabilitate, and empower survivors while fostering sustainable change within communities. This report details our successful rescue operation, the establishment of a new JLU chapter, and a groundbreaking community awareness event that combined food, fun, education, and football to create lasting impact.

Case Study: Rescuing a Survivor in Thailand

JLU was alerted to the case of a young woman who had endured severe abuse and exploitation. Upon verification, our team, in collaboration with local authorities and NGOs, executed a safe rescue operation, ensuring her immediate medical attention, psychological support, and a secure relocation. The survivor has since entered JLU’s rehabilitation program, where she receives counseling, financial assistance, training, and advocacy to rebuild her life.

Establishment of a JLU Chapter in Thailand

Recognizing the urgency of sustained intervention, JLU formally launched a new chapter in Thailand. This chapter serves as a hub for advocacy, survivor support, and community outreach. It operates with a dedicated team of local leaders, legal experts, and social workers committed to eradicating abuse and empowering at-risk populations.

Community Awareness Event: Food, Fun, Education & Football

To introduce JLU Thailand and engage the community, we organized an impactful event that brought together diverse groups in a shared mission of awareness and solidarity.

Event Highlights:

• Educational Workshops: Experts conducted sessions on human rights, self-defense, mental health, and legal protections against abuse.

• Cultural & Culinary Experience: Local chefs and vendors provided free traditional meals, fostering community engagement through shared experiences.

• Football for Empowerment Match: A friendly football game featuring community members, local influencers, and JLU representatives symbolized resilience, teamwork, and empowerment.

• Art & Storytelling Corner: Survivors and advocates shared personal stories through poetry, painting, and music, inspiring hope and collective action.

• Resource Booths: Organizations provided legal aid, medical check-ups, and crisis intervention support for attendees in need.
