🌸 Celebrating Dignity, Education, and Empowerment 🌸

This Menstrual Hygiene Day, we had the privilege of spending a meaningful day with the incredible girls of the Anchored Girls Program.

The event was filled with learning, laughter, and empowerment. A dedicated student doctor, Precious Amposah, led an engaging educational session on menstrual health and hygiene, creating a safe space for questions, discussion, and understanding. Knowledge is one of the most powerful tools we can give young women, leaving them better informed and more confident about their health and well‑being.

Thanks to the generous donation of menstrual products from Clair Coder, Founder of Aunt Flow, the girls also helped package hygiene kits to help ensure access to essential supplies. The excitement in the room was a reminder that something many take for granted can make a significant difference in a young person's life.

Of course, no celebration is complete without food and fellowship! The girls enjoyed snacks, connected with one another, and shared moments that strengthened their sense of community and belonging. The girls received pads to last 3‑5 months.

While Menstrual Hygiene Day is observed once a year, the challenges many girls face are year‑round. Too many young women still miss school, activities, and opportunities because they lack access to menstrual products and education.

We invite you to be part of the solution. Whether through volunteering, sponsoring educational programs, or donating menstrual hygiene products, your support can help restore dignity, confidence, and opportunity to girls in our community.

Together, we can ensure that no girl is held back by her period.
